Ray and I visited Grip Edge tools in Brandon Florida just outside Tampa. We got to play with a lot of their tools and have a hands on experience extracting broken and rounded bolts and torx.
These extractors are amazing and can be used on brand new fasteners to prevent them from rounding out. Rounded out fasteners are a thing of the past now.

Ray and I headed to Brandon, Florida, to get a look at the lineup at Grip Edge tools. We spent the day getting hands-on experience to see if these bolt extractors actually live up to the claims when working on rusty engine components.
These sockets are designed with a specific geometry that grabs onto rounded bolts that other tools just slip off of. It is impressive to see how they perform on both damaged fasteners and as a preventative measure on brand new ones to avoid rounding them out in the future. We also checked out their range of mechanic tools and storage chests while we were there.
