Hey guys, we were inspired to expand to GTA so we created a new channel focused on that! We want to keep the focus here to Fallout so it didn’t really fit on this channel. We appreciate you being her, if you love GTA like we do than give us a follow over there as well! ❤ We just dropped a new vid on GTA’s Horrifying Oceans:

the  reason why Doom was chosen was because older people can remember the question always asked about some random piece of electronic device: "Can it play Doom." Being able to run Doom on something was a litmus test for computational power of a device. Later on, that litmus test became "Can it run Crysis" as when that game came out, it was the most demanding video game on the market. I do not know if there is a bench test video game for the current day, but this is the reason why the neural computer was being made to play Doom.

When Trump took office and started talking about annexing Canada and leaving the UN, I was playing Fallout 3 for the 1st time. Seeing those newspaper articles splash on the loading screen was...freaky.

Our real world military called their laser weapon "Helios". A little to close to the place we associate with the arcmedies laser weapon from New Vegas.😵‍💫

Whoever came up with and embellished this universe was absolutely tapping into the zeitgeist of reality patterning.

There's also the growing trend of luxury bunkers (for the wealthy), Zuckerberg is building one for 100 mill.

It’s not a production if it’s all one big plan

Honestly, the insightful way the game writers have explored social and economic development and our relationship with technology over the decades is what makes Fallout one of my favourite game franchises - I actually use examples from the games to bolster the examples I take from other sci-fi like Bladerunner when teaching my senior English unit about "how to define humanity in the age of advanced technology".

One of the hallmarks of sci-fi is that they take an idea and run it to an extreme.

I don’t know how you guys channel isn’t bigger. Well edited, narrated great, in depth, and informative. I work early mornings and always put these videos on to listen to. You guys are on par with epicnate imo and I wish yall had more subs! Please keep making content I love your videos!

You mention Apple Watches and such, but even before the Apple Watch, there was the PDA. The Palm Pilot is a perfect example. It may not have been a wrist-worn piece of tech, but for scale it was almost exactly what the PIP-Boy does. It is only missing the ability to monitor vitals and a way to strap them to your wrist.

The scariest thing about humans is if we imagine a thing, it comes true. Beware October 23, 2077.

Hell yeah dude I was hoping for some Fallout content❤

I remember having a watch calculator as a kid in the late 80s or early 90s.

11:11 I just noticed that the vault suits are designed for the pip boy to fit over the sleeve.

Surprised you weren’t there with the files. Real shit

I’m gonna try to watch the whole video and give it a fair shake, but based off of the opening line and proposition, I can’t help but feel that you’re just describing the relationship of the sci-fi genre in general and how it relates to the real world.

It was pleasant to hear the whole ordeal of the Shmorkstien files brought up and discussed in a real manor, especially as it pertains to the decadence and power of those types of shadow societies. People are beyond docile about these behaviors by those types, and we need to remind and educate people to light some fires. 🔥 Nice vid guys, as always, and thanks for keepin it real 🤘

Great video!!

10:20 Actually it was Star Trek. I'm fuzzy on if they inspired the smartphone or watch, but it literally was their communicators that were the inspiration. That's on record in some interview somewhere (it's been a long time since I heard that)
