About time! This is the first time I've ever heard anyone tell 5he truth about the Scofield bible. I had one and threw it out when it was obviously confusing to me. I now own a KJV without commentary

The dispensationalism of Scofield contends that Jesus failed on the cross.

That's pretty much all you need to know.

Great sermon, Pastor Joe! Thank you for slamming the coffin lid shut on Scofield and his cohorts. Praise God!

Please put all these sermons about Scofield on SoundCloud, too!!!

I really wish I had this understanding years ago.  It’s like a weight lifted

Just what I needed; thanks much⚓️

Amen!

So glad I watched this. I have a church of Christ friend from work and this will help at least try to get him saved.

Great Sermon!  Definitely looking forward to the rest of the series!  Hopefully I will hear it in person!

Great sermon!

this will be a goodie to see... too many people are duped thinking it's ok to use his bible :/

I was given a Scofield reference Bible and was told the 1911 version is better than the later version.

Of all the King James revisions, you'd think that you'd have understood, that just that one translation being the ONLY one is logistically rubbish. But you're as right as rain on the fallacy of the Schofield being heresy.

What John Nelson Darby the inventor of Dispensationalism was trying to do is create some distance between Catholic and Protestant theologies. I think there is sufficient distance but apparently he did not think so. Nevertheless, after cooking up this philosophy of history he tried to get the Catholic Church to adopt it and cause Catholicism and Protestantism to become more unlike each other. For some odd reason the actual wars between Catholics and Protestants in the past did not catch his attention. The various Catholic churches he presented this idea rejected it. He travelled to the United States and the Protestant churches he visited swallowed it hook, line, and sinker. Dispensationalism has several problems, many covered by numerous and insightful theologians, but my favorites are: (1) the unfolding of this system requires not only the first Second Coming of Jesus but at least a second Second Coming and if the system is understood in a particular manner the result requires a third Second Coming of Jesus; (2) the system's claim that men are saved in different ways at different times is an outright contradiction of Hebrews 11:6; (3) dispensationalism's claim that certain prophetic events are yet to be fulfilled in the future implies that Jesus cannot return at this very moment because these so-called events have not yet taken place, a concept the Apostle Paul would vigorously disagree with. Also, the fact that this system did not exist before 1850 should have been a warning, but most of the spiritually weak and blind are not concerned with facts. If your readers have any interest, they may read "Dispensationalism in America," by KRAUS and come to their own conclusions. This book helped me get out of this "theological rabbit hole," to borrow a phrase. And I apologize for the length of this item.

Very good 6 part series exposing Codex Sinaicticus. Unfortunately the pastor did a refutation video or 2 on the series which didn't make any sense and he never gave any REASONS why he refuted it so I chose to ignore his Refutations. The 6 part series is excellent.

Times might change but God doesn't. Times might change but the Bible doesn't Progressivism will tolerate Evil. They will allow Evil in

I used to attend a Pentacostal Church that referenced the Schofield Study Bible, amongst many other corrupt versions.

The talked grace through faith but then they put conditions on it.

They said that you must repent of your sins and give your life to Christ for salvation.

Please do not throw Presbyterians under the bus. We believe in salvation by grace alone. It is the gift of God. Not by works. It is Christ alone.

Just to clarify my comment... we all remember Obama Heath care, he didn't know anything of the 3 thousand pages in it ,they just needed a President to sign it into law.

Does Justification now include King James Only?   Can a person be saved if they don't use KJV?  I agree with your assessment about CIS, but you are definitely off base with your KJ only nonsense.
