Knowing Annette as an indie makeup youtuber (Annette's Makeup Corner), finding out she was an incredible pro poker player is wild.

The last card of the tournament being the queen of hearts is so poetic

Being able to contain your emotions in high intensity moments defines your position. Did you notice she would shake after winning? Finally able to release the anxiety she had to contain. Impressive self control.

i dont even know how to play poker but im still watching this

Played with her before she won her tournaments. She is a top competitive scrabble player now [#86 NASPA], a very nice, sweet person, but smart and ruthless at the table. From what I hear she left due to the haters and trolls, she was very young then, but I hope she considers coming back.

People trying not to cry always makes me cry, haha. Her reaction at the end, and the boys jumping the fence to be with her. What a cool moment for them.

People were mean to her because she was an ultra aggressive female poker player. We all celebrated people like Gus Hanson, but Annette was the wrong gender? But she never misbehaved at the table, didn't edge or any of that other shit, she was pure pro and friendly in victory. I wish her the best, she was fantastic to watch.

She’s the prime example of how playing your position and the player (their style, their stack, their demeanor) is more important than playing the cards. She’s so sharp with strategy and really simplifies the many ways to play the game and it’s a delight to watch. I read about her while brushing up on poker strategy and I’m glad I finally got to see her play

Annette was a force on pokerstars before she was 18. We watched along the tournament she won without looking at her cards. She was brilliant.

She's a great player. No fear and rather unpredictable. She got lucky a couple times, but to win a tournament like this, that is almost always a prerequisite.

Love it that this young amazing woman won against all these men that underestimated her. For me a pro mindset means to never underestimate any opponent, to never take any victory for granted and to always stay humbled.

i absolutely love when you can see her trying not to smile when she pwns someone LOLLLL

She is from my home town in Norway. Never met her, but my old house mate, who was semi-pro and taught me poker, always bragged about having played against this up and coming prodigy from my home town

annette saying “i’m all in” is like being chased by the terminator. it’s like peter griffin saying ow after skinning his knee. 😂 it’s funny because it’s happening to someone else.

If you're reading this right now, I just want to say; I'm rooting for you. We’re strangers, but that doesn’t mean I don’t care. I know what it’s like to feel like you're pushing a boulder uphill. I felt that way until I picked up Manifest and Receive by Eva Hartley I can’t explain it perfectly, but it changed my whole perspective. After checking it out on youtube and reading it things have been flowing—money, peace, confidence. Maybe this is your moment too. Stay open. Wishing you more than you ever imagined. 💫💰

I’ve seldom seen her play, but she’s scary. Saw a game where she humiliated Hellmuth, who kept assuming she was bluffing when she wasn’t.

I think her style of play was brilliant. The way she could switch up her style of play so smoothly seemed to keep her opponents always guessing. I wish I could watch her in scrabble tournaments. 😊. Good luck to her from 🇺🇸 no matter her endeavors ♥️

She always won gracefully never gloated. A very lovely person
