Whichever half of the year you land in, you get one version of this place and not the other, and almost nobody works that out until they have already paid for the flights.

Laem Pakarang at low tide, the Little Amazon canal at Takua Pa, the Surin Islands and Richelieu Rock if you dive, the waterfalls, the hot springs up at Kapong, and the Sunday walking street in Takua Pa old town.
