This is my final video covering Fear No Evil! What did you guys think of the expansion? ALSO the update to my mega resources for FNE is on its way probably with Shadowland (e.g. Every Villain's Best Mod Sets)

I'm so happy you brought up how this box fixed nightcrawler. One of my most looked forward to and disappointed in characters. Now he's so fun

In terms of modular sets I find it pretty fun to replace Drive with the Milano modular set for getaway. It thematically turns it into a space chase but also the added wild resource every term helps with speeding up the pace for you to play at

Thank you for this!!😊❤❤

Shout out Purple Man, I was not expecting him to be my favourite underling.

I liked the Ronin stuff but am now a bit fatigued by it: my decks were getting very copy and paste.

Kingpin for me started to shine when I started playing around with modulars. Whispers of Paranoia made him annoying in the best possible way, Sinister Assault is also a fun (slightly thematic) include.

Thanks for covering these.  We sre in the middle of the campsign. Our first mstch up was hammerhead with breakout and it was just a win. Luke cage was useful to have due to the blocking.
We had car chase with bullseye and Jessica Jones was able to catch the crooked cop on her camcorder. How thematic.  Been a great box so far for theme amd enjoyment. We nesrly went out with bullseye having lined up an attack due to it being tyree player. Fortunately we were able to prevent it by defeating him lll

Thanks for the video!

Definitely my new favorite bit box expansion. You’re right about getaway and stop the presses being flawed but compared to the other big boxes there are a lot fewer glaring issues. Both heroes are top notch - powerful and fun. I actually like all 6 villains here and Kingpin is for sure a top tier, extremely well balanced scenario in the Magneto category.

Man, I absolutely LOVE Fear No Evil. It's my favorite product that has come out since I started playing (summer 2025) and my favorite expansion outside of Sinister Motives. I love the villains, I love the switchable main schemes (I wouldn't love them all the time but I like them here), and it really feels to me like every villain maintains their own character and gives each main scenario a bit of their own flavor. I have been very surprised at how much people don't like the Getaway. I think it feels like you're on a chase. The Pedestrians card is brutal but it should be. You're on high-speed chase through the streets of New York. There's a good chance people might get hurt. This chase has actual stakes that car chases don't always have.

The Kingpin is great and so good thematically. You really have to earn him.

Yup, also love the new Protection archetype. It's almost too good but I love that it works with just about any hero. Though I will mostly probably still play decks with allies bcuz I like allies.

Echo I kind of bounced off of, but heroes like that, I own so the first time. Shuri, Ghost Spider, Black Widow, I had to come back later but I did and they're was great.

Finally, Daredevil launched straight into a top-five hero for me. He can do so much and between Acute Tactility and Focus the Senses, you can have crazy turns where you really feel like you're leaping around, punching this minion in the face, kicking that minion in the gut, stopping a scheme, and then saving a little bit of ass-whup for the villain. Raising Hell is another great card. Daredevil's awesome. For me, Civil War is after Galaxy's Most Wanted. Mutant Genesis and Next Evolution are tough. I love the villains of Greenish l Genesis but Domino might be my favorite hero to play. And Cable is Cable. Age of Apocalypse is second tier and Fear No Evil is top tier.

Hey Villain. Have you tried playing the Civil
war heroes in the FNE scenarios or vice versa yet?

This is a pretty accurate review. I'm really pleased with this box overall. It didn't quite break my top spot. But it's up there in the top 3 for sure.

Sadly this seems to be sold out in the UK. Watching your videos is lots of fun though, thanks so much for doing them,.i'm glad your retirement has been postponed.

Love the heroes but I really dislike the villains and the modular scenarios (and the Getaway and Protection Racket found a fitting resting place in the trash can for me - about as much fun as a trip to the dentist). I will be wary of other expansion boxes.

The problem with the getaway is that there’s a bit too much upkeep, which is kind of annoying. But have you tried these main schemes with other, not in this box villains? For example, juggernaut with the getaway. It’s a lot, but it’s fun. I’ve also used black widow with the raft scheme. I love how interchangeable this and civil war was, really hoping it continues going forward. Maybe just implement it a little better.

I really think you're overreacting to Pedestrians. If you're playing 2P, your game is probably going to be about 6 turns. If you're getting alongside every turn (and you should), you get 1 speed counter per round. So Pedestrians, if you get it on say turn 4-5, means 3-4 speed counters. It's pretty easy to take 3-4 damage, or if you have a wide board, exhaust a bunch of characters and take 0-1 damage.

Just go a little faster and don't turtle and you're fine. The Getaway is a great scenario. The only one I genuinely don't like is Protection Racket (I play mostly MP).
