This whole novel is a husband's worst fricking nightmare. Not the house-husband thing, because theoretically there's nothing wrong with the wife working while the husband takes care of the house and the kids, if it works for the family...but...EVERYTHING else.
Also, these books always feature the one or two people who can't keep their shit together.
Good God I am 4 hrs in and I swear it feels like ive been listening for 10 years. I thought the setup with the whole family and sketchy wife business was the boring part til he actually got into the fab facility and then it just drones on and on and on my God. I keep listening cause I'm afraid of I bail out now im gonna 10 mins away from the greatest story ive ever heard .
Honestly michael crichton might just be my favorite author of all time. I love how he dabbles in weird biology futurist themes and the suspense he holds throughout a book. Sphere or jurraeic park are my all time from him
He was a true profit of his time undiscovered unheard, unfelt, almost lost to time unless the very few of us left my utter, yet even whisper his name in the shadows, holding him to the time forever forgotten I don’t know I’m just chatting total absolute bollocks I suppose I am of course of talking about Michael, if that wasn’t clear by now
