This is all advice I wish I had heard last year. I was dealing with an injury that prevented me from running anywhere near as fast as the time I had qualified and it was a big mistake for me start in the first corral of wave 2. I got swept up in the excitement and ran the first few miles considerably faster than what was reasonable for me and ended having to walk-run pretty much from mile 16 on. Hopefully this year will go better for me.

Why is coach Paul's Boston time way slower than those in other marathons?
