You took a predator off the streets. The law enforcement agencies failed. You saved generations of boys from this monster.

Just in case Dalton or Clark was wondering - I am one of the people that this has helped and in an immeasurable way. As a SA surivior this helped quell the blinding rage that comes with having your boundaries broken as a child. Thank you so much Clark for helping us to reinforce a positive and peaceful existence. And thank you Dalton for not interrupting your guests like others and only asking questions when it is needed. You're an amazing listener and empowerer of another's voice.

My heart goes out to him,  abuse is a life sentence. My mother and her sisters were abused by their father for years and their mother was the enabler. My mother walked to the police station at just 11 years old to report her father, they knew the family, when she told the police, they laughed at her and told her to go home, because like many predators, her father was respected in the community. It turned out he abused his own grandchild too and countless others. I confronted them both when I was 15 after seeing the suffering my mother went through, I told him exactly what I thought of him and how everyone knew what he had done and I left him a shell of a man, I saw the lights go out in his eyes. His health and mental health declined rapidly and he died 2 years later and me and my Mother raised a glass to celebrate. Good riddance to evil.

I’m writing this comment only an hour and a half into the podcast, this is one the most incredible and heart breaking story I’ve ever heard. As well as this guy is an unbelievable story teller, I feel like I’m watching a movie just listening to this

I, too, was sexually abused from the time I was 2 years old until I was 12 years old. It was by 7 different people in the 60s and early 70s. I couldn't tell anyone because at that age, I didn't have the words to explain what was happening ,much less say it in Spanish. I'm grateful to God, that I never did drugs or alcohol.  I did suffer from bad depression for years  and years. I recognize that God was with me to overcome what happened to me. Then, when I got married, he was verbally abusive, and he was an alcoholic. At 36 years old, I got divorced, and I never trusted anyone ever again. So I became a single mom  of 2 girls, age 8 and 12 years old.  I'm still single today in my early 60s. I've never been happier in my life compared to when  i have been alone. God was my provider, with no college degree, I was making 80,000 a year. I started working in the bank at age 16 years old. I know it was God whom opened that door for me. After 45 years of banking ,I retired at 60 years old. I have no debt, so I'm living off my savings until I turn 67 to get social security. If you are abused, God can help you overcome.

I am so sorry this happened to you and nobody helped you. I am a 51-year-old male  and i cannot stop crying and this is the second time that I have heard Clarks story

My grandpa was a detective, Sadly he passed when I was young but something he told me was to never talk to the police. Don't do crime of course, But even if you are innocent and brought up on made up charges you never ever speak to the police without a lawyer.

This Story is F’ing heartbreaking.

I try to talk to my daughter about this sort of thing all the time, she doesn’t get it, and hopefully never will, but now I have a new warning for her:  “No adult should ever tell a kid to keep their secret”.
