Last time I was there I was able to have a wander through the shed as I was on a driving experience, there were less loco's on show as number 1 and 2 were under overhaul, I saw Dolgoch's chassis and nothing of Talyllyn as she was spread around the country at the time. Glad you had a good time. The fourdees kits are fantastic you have done a cracking job!

Sir Haydn is such a lovely locomotive, I was lucky to get a cabride on its visit to Corris earlier this year. Fab work as always 👍

Hi James. It looks like you had a great time on the Tal-y-Llyn. As for your OO9, what you need to do is to combine a OO9 line in with your OO layout.

The name of the other 2’3”railway is the plynlimon and hafan tramway, which ran from hafan near bow street in ceredigion to the lead mines in the hills near talybont. It only survived two years however the track bed is still traceable

You mention kids playing in the stream at Nant Gwernol in the hot weather.  My son played in the stream up to his waist, fully dressed, in October!  He’s 22 and this was last year… I’ve never stopped my children playing in fun stuff.

I put my models into the zip close bags for food and into the fridge to keep cool . Arthur

Enjoyed watching that, thanks.  Nice mix of 1:1 and 1:76.  Surprising how a bit of paint can make the clumpy valve gear look so much better.  Presumably it's a clearance issue underneath, and it's beaching on that rerailer/crossing/power-supply bit of track?

I was hoping that a 4D model would be bigger on the inside so you'd have room for big flywheels & stay alive to keep it running smoothly. 🤣🤣🤣

Great video as always, if your ever in Northern France a trip on the trains of Chemin de Fer de la Baie de Somme (Somme Bay Railway) is certainly worth the trip and it’s a lovely seaside town with lots of shops and restaurants
