Seems like an insurance job to me, unfortunately guessing they had a persistent problem and then the car conveniently got vandalised. Hope I’m wrong. Anyway, great content as always looking forward to the rest of the series.

I had this happen to a car of mine once, stolen and vandalised to destruction. The evil little bastards broke off used hypodermic syringes into the driver’s side seat squab so they would stick in the legs of anyone trying to recover the vehicle and then did the same thing with razor blades that they pushed into the blind side of the steering wheel. Our society has creatures in it that are barely human.

If the egr valve is blocked,try buying egr cleaner,just pour in and hope it fixed and its cheap.

You just bought what I’d call an insurance job. Had a few dings engine issues and no doubt expensive to fix so it conveniently had someone vandalise it. Good luck with it but knowing copart vehicles it’s going to be a nightmare

My girlfriend has this exact car same model and colour slightly less mileage it’s on about 155 thousand. Great cars I’ve had the boot filled with bags of stones for the garden couldn’t even tell it had all that weight in the boot drove no different 😃. They do suffer from suspension bushings failure probably just because of the weight of it. And it’s does smoke a bit from time to time can go weeks without doing it then it just appears lol. Solid cars she’s had it nearly 3 years now with no major issues. Hers is a 64 plate too. Enjoy it’s a good car for the money 👌🏻
