Moving out of a house that's on fire, only to move into a house made of sticks right next to a rabid bull

This feels like when Sideshow Bob kept walking into rakes except they are intentionally doing it.

Nintendo has two Directs back to back and Sony responds by announcing -1 Games.

Hold we are just getting news that Xbox has just fired a bunch employees and assigns one of the call duty team to work on halo.

@leithaziz2716 12 days ago

Great timing as Microsoft makes more bad decisions today after one smart move.

@manzanito3652 12 days ago

Sony saw the ps6 was gonna have one game and got scared.

"Xbox (and by extension Sega) does what PlayStation PHYSINT!!"

@HerpDerpTheTank 12 days ago

Oh yes… I’ve been waiting for them to cover this.

From now on whenever Microsoft announces something great like this I'm just gonna assume they're gearing up to dump ass everywhere a week later like they did today

@mattb6616 12 days ago

surprised they don't really mention how this happened after KojiPro turned down buyout requests. Sony wanted to own them and they wanted to stay independent. It seems like that's probably a big part of this.

I await the news when Xbox lays off kojima and his team again for some reason.

XBox deployed the Fulton Recovery System on Kojima

@fondedan4078 12 days ago

It wasn't just that kojima cared about the project to keep it alive, they said they took money from the bank themselves to get things rolling. The studio was in actual danger

It really worries me how people just buy into this idea that xbox is this underdog hero to take on big bad sony.

The thumbnail gives me flash backs of Woolie ending his friendship with partizan.

I bet Microsoft is on their way to shut down development on PHYSINT and downsize Kojima Productions on some shit like "Nay, Sony. The honor will be all ours"

@MrBda241 12 days ago

Not only did Sony drop Kojima Production entirely, they did it over a Zoom Call, not having the balls to do it in person.
Microsoft knows they are potentially losing a lot of money, but they can't deny the easiest marketing plan in "Saving" and Funding both Kojima games now.
