I know very intimately the pain of the wound of self-betrayal. SRT actually helped me once and for all wake up to the ways I was self-betraying, and as I said in a clearing from a few days ago, nothing in life has given me more pleasure and true euphoria then respecting myself.

In this SRT clearing today we scratched the surface of this wound of self-betrayal. We explored the negative habits, patterns and energies that have prevented us from feeling safe looking at the depth of the pain this self-betrayal has caused us, which has allowed us to carry on in behaving in disrespect. The clearing also asked us to explore how we have “sold our soul” to others in order to either have control or give our control away. We also looked at what role we have been trying to fulfill for the other, all the while killing off key parts of who we are.
