He’s free from buu just in time to be recaptured by star force

I think it's legitimately admirable they used the movies as filler story beats and it does a decent job tying the story together!

The Vegito portion is actually such a good gameplay translation of what it must've been like. He's extremely overpowered and outmatches Super Buu to the point it just isn't fun to just beat him, so the player is naturally inclined to toy around with the new abilities... just like how Vegito behaved in the anime!
Also the song that plays is extremely badass. Amazing version of Faulconer's theme.

38:23 So that's it, huh? What are we some kind of... Supersonic Warriors?

7:12 Fun fact: that may not be how she found out in the anime, but it is what actually happened in the original manga.

20:13 John, vampires have been a thing since OG Dragon Ball.

Smh can't believe you forgot Fangs the vampire, the most important DB character.

"Yes he's a child now, time to start kicking!"

John...you were WORRYINGLY HAPPY ABOUT THAT.

27:01 As a representative of this group of viewers, I can safely say we all had a stroke during the first legacy of Goku video

This game is like a time capsule of DBZ before all the filler got reconned away by super

22:08 the funniest part about this is they DID revive everyone that died that day mainly to correct what Majin Vegeta did at the tournament (this is how Kabito came back to life iirc).

Then not only does Fat Buu destroy a few more cities after this but Super Buu also kills everyone on Earth (except the people on the Lookout, Hercule, Tien and Chiaotzu).

So there’s a good chance that a few dozen/hundreds of people were revived then killed again shortly after. It gets even more fucked when you realize the Buu Saga (from when they head to Babidis ship to Kid Buus defeat) is like 1-2 days tops…

"Maybe stop hinging the fate of the world on DEATHMATCHES!"

I'm glad TFS Trunks and BF/LOG3 Supreme Kai agree that this is a really stupid way to live life.

That hat you get after you put the ninja master in the box is actually the most overpowered item in the game.  It gives you an extra stat point when you level up while wearing it.

Your stats actually have a hard cap equal to your level, which you only really notice if you just dump everything into one stat.  That hat is the only way to get all your stats to that point, in case you wanted to further trivialize an already easy game.

37:30 It’s a real shame this game wasn’t released more recently… a Battle of Gods post-game content where you could use Vegeto to face off against a Beerus superboss that would basically require the best gear in the game would go so hard 😅

21:34 I really appreciate that they designed The broly fight As if you were fighting fucking Bowser.

19:15 Dr. Light took over bro 😭

29:44 Unironically one of my favorite Covid era memes.  It's short, the picture is smug magnifico, and considering how much of a genius Gohan is it's especially jarring that he'd call some deformed bubblegum man that not just for his education/city life, but because Goku can be extremely slow on some topics

Big Bang Attack is actually a little more useful than the description here. In a neat little callback to how this attack looks in many DBZ games, most prominently the Budokai games, you can fire an additional Ki Blast at the traveling Big Bang to detonate it manually.

This makes the move exponentially more useful as you no longer have to wait for the attack to reach the end of a room and lets you take advantage of more rampant explosions, which is the part of the attack that does real damage.

Buus Fury is legit my standard for anime game adaptations and i wish there were more in its style.

Skipping over the Grand Kai theme is criminal, lol

I can't believe this game has a bloody underflow glitch thats that easy to pop
