Oh wow 😳 I have not seen a Dooney and Bourke bag in this style. Gorgeous ❤❤

That fuscia color though!

LOVE THE VLOG. TFS. HAVE A BLESSED WEEKEND

A good combination of moisturiser/cleaner will fix those few concerns on the first bag. Give it a chance 🙂

I agree too, how hard is it to disclose everything?  Very good condition from Dooney should be in like new condition, no corner wear.

I almost purchased that bag No joke. It's super cute but yeah the condition isn't that great maybe a good cleaning and conditioner will help her out. I love that silhouette she is so damn cute.

I had a great experience on eBay but I’m very picky so I purchased a brand new Dooney and Bourke twist hobo in dark purple. Got it for can excellent price! Keep trying. I always enjoy your videos. We have a lot of similar bags. Sending positive vibes from CA! 😊

The condition differences when you unbox versus what was photographed/described are SUCH a PAIN. I hate that we all experience this. I agree with you, I wish sellers would be more accurate.

My advice is for you to take a deep breath buy a new bag to get rid of this bag luck lol you're having them start your search 🔎 up again. Blessings my friend I love this channel so pls don't give up on it.

White can be leather spew (if it feels a little waxy). You can use a hair dryer on hot heat. It's the natural fats that sometimes rise to the top of the skin during storage (we think the cold causes this). The heat of the hair dryer will make the fats go right back into the leather. If it doesn't feel waxy, it could be surface dirt that could be cleaned off with Lexol (or other brand) leather wipes.

Tbh she doesn't look that bad now that I've seen her a little better. Pls don't give up on pre loved 🙏 she's gonna be amazing once you've shown her some love.  You must understand that the bag is at least 25 years old if not more.

Hi Jay! I always look forward to watching any video of yours 😊 I’m sorry for the bad experiences you have been having lately with resellers. I resale handbags that I sourced through thrifting. I take a lot of pride in how I ship my bags. I like to make it a great experience for the person receiving it. I’m also honest when describing my items. I hate that some ppl just can’t be honest and let the buyer decide to purchase it knowing exactly what they are getting

Sorry to hear about your reseller experiences lately. 😞 That’s a fear of mine too which is why I try my best to capture good pics and honest descriptions when I sell a bag! There’s still some of us good ones out there! lol

I have this tote in brown 🤎🤎 with the matching hobo....love love it. It's my workbag and travel bag. That pink is beautiful so sorry it didn't workout.
Because of you I just ordered my 1st preloved bag I purchased from eBay and praying it passes the authentication process and matches the pictures

It is so disappointing when a bag isn’t as described. I’ve bought a lot of items on the resale market and for the most part they have been good. I guess I’ve blocked the memory of the bad ones 😂. Even though this is a hassle and extra work for you to deal with the return, I appreciate you making the video as it was informative and interesting. Peace and Love...Suz What ☮️💛

On my wishlist are the Bayswater from Mulberry in big and the Billy from Jerome Dreyfuss in medium.

Jay! I love your videos. I also used to live in your area when I worked for that newspaper there. But now I live in VT and the retail struggle is real - so I do a lot of shopping online and buy pre-loved a lot. I have noticed a lot of new people jumping into the market i.e. e-bay sellers who have few to no sales and limited merchandise. While I want to give them a chance, I get suspicious of scammers on top of risking low quality and lack of experience so I will go to the larger sellers with lots of reviews. If you follow the Leather Doc she has some good tips including asking for more close up pictures as she does all her sourcing online. I have read that on the D&B Preloved they are showing stock photos and not the actual merch. Your story is very helpful to me here. I will steer away!  That said I am buying project bags because I am having fun with that for myself.

In the past i have bought two bags from Vestiare Collective. One Coccinelle in bad Condition. I complained about it and sent it bag and one Lonchamp Balzane in very very good condition like new.
On ebay it was very good and very terrible but i can complained it

Hi Jay. I really enjoy watching your videos.  I like that you tell it like it is.   I also have had bad luck with smelly bags.  I’ve tried everything & finally found a solution for old storage smells.  Stuff the bag with newspaper & a charcoal pack.  Let it sit overnight.  Take out the newspaper next morning.  If it still has a scent, stuff it again with fresh newspaper & leave it for a day or two.  It should get rid of the smell.  It’s worked for me on several bags.  I like to restore coach vintage bags.  Also I bought two bags on coach Reloved.  One bag was perfect.  But this week I bought a red  vintage coach Willis bag at over $500.  There was only one picture on the site.  The bag looked beautiful.  So I thought it’s coach, it’ll be beautiful.  Sadly no.  The bag arrived with no stuffing to protect it with only its dust bag.  Then the bag looked painted, stiff,  and dry!  The exterior color was blotchy and inside of the bag was really dirty.  I returned it the next day to a coach store.  I was so disappointed!  So I feel your pain.  It’s awful to receive bags in such bad condition when they are pictured beautifully online.    Love your rogue collection too!   I also love rogues!  Thanks.

From experience when prelove sellers send little gifts like that the item is usually not usually up to parr to me it’s their way of softening the obvious
