Now if we could only get World on "30 for 30", a basketball life, etc.,etc. They do shows on so many other athletes who should not even be featured.

How a franchise player like him is not in the HOF is beyond me. If Pete Maravich makes the hall, whom I love, then World B. Free should be in there.

I believe you failed to mention that in ‘84-‘85 Free led the Cavs to the playoffs v the Celtics and if memory serves me, it was a hard fought 4-2 series win for the Celtics, he was a joy to watch and he’s one of my favorite players

I remember a quote from World that I heard back in the 70s. “ No one can guard me. Not even myself!”

I remember when he was Lloyd Free for the Sixers and he would come off the bench shooting and would dunk on you too.🏀🏀

World B. Free was a Baller. Played against him a few times at the Marine Depot in SD. Even after retirement he was tough. Thanks for the memories!

Loved World B Free game. Great gunners are always needed. World B, Downtown Freddie Brown, The Microwave. All these guys filled a spot. Patterned my game after World B. When you put up 47 and take no 3s that’s giving a dude the business

World B Free was ahead of his time. People forget how much of a problem he was for opposing teams

Man I'm loving these videos of criminally overlooked players. Excellently narrated, well put together and a joy to watch. Thank you!

He was using his left hand to dribble on the court when most players couldn't dribble with their off hand if you paid them. Unstoppable jumper and great finisher at the rim.

That man never considered a shot that he wouldn’t take. 😂
To this day, one of the most unique players I’ve ever seen. The name Free fit perfectly because in his mind he was always open…😂

Lloyd Free was a STAR. Nobody could stop him for 2-3 years. Just like Bernard King.

Love him as a kid growing up in Oakland. Everyone wanted to wear his number when I played basketball as a kid.
