Metal detecting dreams DO come true! 🤯 I finally unearthed my FIRST EVER GOLD COIN –
a stunning 1843 Queen Victoria Sovereign!
And incredibly, the day wasn’t finished there… 👀🪙
Guys… *IT’S FINALLY HAPPENED!* 😱🪙
After all this time metal detecting, I have finally pulled my *VERY FIRST GOLD COIN* out of the ground!
And what a coin for it to be…
A beautiful *1843 Queen Victoria Gold Sovereign!* 🤯💛
To say I was shocked would be an understatement, and I’m pretty sure that comes across in the video! 😂 I honestly couldn’t believe what I was looking at.
And then, as if finding my first ever gold coin wasn’t enough, I followed it up with a *beautiful silver coin* as well…
Things really couldn’t have gone much better!
As always, I was out with the ever-funny **Mike**, and yet again we were detecting a field that Mike had managed to secure permission for only the day before.
And here’s something that makes it even crazier…
It was only *a year and two weeks since I found the Gold Torc* — which was ALSO found on one of Mike’s permissions! 😳
Mike, I think I need to keep you around, mate! 😂
We had a proper laugh as usual, and naturally I made a complete fool of myself with the obligatory **GOLD DANCE**.
It’s the law, isn’t it? 🕺😂
But there’s one important question left…
*Did Mike manage to salvage his day, or was it finally his turn to go home with a wobbly bottom lip?* 🤣

And after several weeks of Mike absolutely smashing it while I’ve been going home gutted…
