So good to see you here again. I appreciate how specific you are in the review, not just "i love it" and "it's pretty", looking the properties and how they work. Congratulations to you and your partner 💍♥️🌈 - you sound so happy!!!

Happy pride, Denise! 🥰

I love your reviews but I gotta say what I love MOST is that you feature small makers and not just random "amazon/temu" finds from ripoff artists <3

It's so great to hear your voice! Thanks for sharing your happiness and for showing up again!

I started following you pre-COVID… I haven’t been online for the last few years but you popped up in my notifications today and I must say I am blown away at how much your paintings have improved over the years, and how realistic your images are. Your work is amazing, Denise! ❤

Glad you're feeling better! These paints do sound tempting. I really like how they granulate on the rough paper

@ChantelleArts 3 months ago

that granulation on the washes is absolutely stunning 🥰

I love Jackman's Watercolours! I had the pleasure of meeting the founder Marc Jackman at one of UK's many Creative Craft Shows 2 years running (2023 & 2024). He is such a watercolour nerd and geeking out with him about the process was such a joy! I remember Marc telling me he had really struggled with the swatches for the tubes as it doesn't do them justice either in the colour effects or the granulation so the fact you said that only one was bit iffy in your review is quite the compliment!
I own about 15 Jackman's colours, most of them the granulating/ colour splitting ones which were mostly brought at those Craft Shows - my fave still being 'Petal Shadow', the first one I ever picked up of the brand - there is nothing really like it and I own so much watercolour, it really stands on its own.
I first heard about the brand through a friend's Scrawlrbox video diving into their Crystalline Watercolours that were very Brusho powder coded but not dye-based.

Hi Denise. Been following your journey for a while. I think I learned most of what I know about watercolors from your series about pigments. There is something about your videos that I find so soothing and even healing. There is not only beautiful painting but also patience and care and dedication and also the feeling that you are a person that cares not only for art but also for other people and for live in general. That and your courage to show it makes your channel so unique and a resting place for me. It's definitely more than watercolor-infotainment. Whatever news you share about how life is going for you, touches me. It's so satisfying to watch you 🦄finding the love that you deserve. Wishing you all the happiness in the world and sending my appreciation for the whole work of art ...🌈🌸💖

Congrats on the engagement y’all. Your voice even sounds more energetic and happy. Can’t wait to see what else is in store for you.

I used to watch your videos during the pandemic when I got really into watercolor. Took a really long break, now I'm back, and enjoying your art more than ever. I know you're not a creator who posts widely appealing, trendy videos, but I wish the algorithm would give your channel some more love; I didn't remember your channel name exactly and had to search really hard for you! I'm really looking forward to getting back into this hobby and benefiting from your plethora of videos sharing your deep knowledge.

Glad you're feeling better and loving life. Am I understanding correctly that you're recently engaged? Congratulations!! Happy Pride, as well 💞💜💙

Also I miss your videos being posted more consistently, you are the best !

I love these birds. They are so fast underwater! You see them one one spot of a lake, they dive and a few seconds later they show up in a totally different spot 😂 Last week I saw one carrying its chick on its back. So cute...

Aahh I love crested grebes! It's a funny realisation that you don't have them and likely don't know them, so I'm glad you came across them and appreciate them enough for such a wonderful set of little paintings 💖 glad to hear recovery is going well, and congrats on the engagement!!

@Liesse-ks9pb 3 months ago

Congratulations!
The painting is beautiful and really captures the charm of the Grebes.
Jackmans paints are lovely to work with. I’m starting to build a palette of paints and I have found that they make some paints with unusual pigments, which always appeals to the pigment nerd in me. Their customer service is excellent and they often have discounts available (via setting up an account on their webpage).
