THE MONROE METHOD is a 3-hour guided astral projection meditation for practitioners who have reached the edge of the experience—but lost it through excitement, effort, movement, or doubt.
This session is built around a simple paradox: the harder you try to leave the body, the more involved the body becomes. Instead of forcing an experience, this meditation guides you toward stillness, sensory awareness, and the release of effort.
The first approximately 30 minutes contain spoken guidance. The remaining portion continues as an extended sound bed for sleep, deep relaxation, meditation, or continued practice.
You may use this session if you are exploring:
• Astral projection and out-of-body experiences
• The mind-awake, body-asleep state
• Vibrational sensations during deep relaxation
• Consciousness at the edge of sleep
• Letting go of effort during meditation
• Monroe Method-inspired inner exploration
• Deep sleep after a guided induction
The meditation does not ask you to force an outcome. You do not need to visualize a particular scene, control every breath, or maintain perfect concentration. If your attention wanders, return gently to the voice. If you fall asleep, allow sleep to be part of the experience.
The session includes grounding through bodily sensation, a gradual approach to the threshold of sleep, and a quiet release sequence built around the natural breath. You may experience heaviness, tingling, vibrations, drifting imagery, changes in body perception, or simply deep relaxation. There is no single correct result.
This meditation is offered by Gael Anderson Meditation for personal reflection, relaxation, sleep, and spiritual exploration.

If this session helps you, share what you noticed—not only whether you experienced astral projection, but also what happened at the point where effort began to soften.
