It's pretty cool that you guys up in North Carolina  have access to so many species that are typically seen in Florida. But your lobsters are way bigger by the time they get that far north than the ones we get in the Keys. Thank the Gulf Stream for that unique bit of habitat.
To the foreign whiners: you moan about the use of scuba on a 100' wreck? Recreational spearing on scuba is legal, but recreational lobster trapping, or wide open fishing for red snapper, is allowed only to the for-profit fishers, and you haven't complained at all about that. Do you bother to question with the same criticism the advantages that are handed to the commercial fishers? Why not?

We pulled lots of brass portholes and large spiny lobster in the 1980’s. Captain Ed Wolfe on the Whipsaw turned us on to the Normania.

Man that is great viz.  I wish we had that here in Myrtle Beach.  Our viz has gone down a lot lately.  Great fishing.

What great visibility!  A couple of great dives.  I appreciate your narration.  Would love to hear even more comments about what you were seeing and thinking as you went through your dive, and identifying some of the other 'shootable' fish that come into view of your camera.  I am learning a lot from other divers like yourself right now and beginning to implement it into my own diving.  And for those who are not spearfishermen and just watching because they love the underwater, having you point out various kinds of fish would make it more enjoyable and educational.  Thanks!

Amber Jack’s barracudas groupers snappers should’ve filled up the bottom of the boat with fish, including lion fish unfortunately, the lion fish and everything else would love to see 20 years as long as you’re diving

You have the shooting line rigged wrong.  I have literally NEVER seen anyone do that.  the bungi goes on the other end of the shooting line!

I am almost 79 years old and I still do spearfishing free diving 40 feet.

I've never spearfishing using scuba, you had all day to wait out the African pompano, agreed that gun was too small more for freediving in 20 to 40 feet .it looked like a 48inch. I don't know about scuba and spearfishing I learned as a kid in CA breathhold leagal.
