అసలు ఇవన్నీ కాదు. విజయవాడ వాసులకు గుంటూరు జిల్లాలో ఒక్క ప్రాజెక్టు కూడా పెట్టటం ఇష్టం లేదు. అభివృద్ధి అంతా కృష్ణా నది అవతలి వైపే జరగాలి. ఇప్పటికే గుంటూరు జిల్లాకి చాలా అన్యాయం జరిగింది. ఏ కొత్త ప్రాజెక్టు ఐనా గుంటూరు విజయవాడల మధ్య పెడితే రెండు నగరాలు అభివృద్ధి చెందుతాయి. ఇది గ్రహించాలి.

ఇప్పటికే క్రిష్ణా జిల్లాలో ఉన్నది. కనుక గుంటూరు జిల్లాలో ( ఉమ్మడి)  ఏర్పాటు చేస్తే బాగుంటుంది.

Gannavaram is not so reachable for people in Guntur and Amaravati as it is on the other corner of Vijayawada.
So better to have a new airport near to Amaravati.

It's better to gradually asses the passenger demand and expand/upgrade existing Gannavaram airport.
If we plan for new international airport also it's not worthful if not much passengers.

Though the two places you mentioned are the possibilities, you mentioned few things that are not factual

1. Ananthpur-Amaravathi expwy is no longer exists and is replaced by BKV Expwy which is already under construction (i.e., B'lore-Kadapa-Vijayawada). Either way, these will have nothing to do with airport location, but the location is based on better connectivity to all parts of the state. Thus, location most likely will be between ORR and IRR
2. Amaravati core capital should not be in the flight path as this will cause huge sound pollution in the long term and thus, the location should be 30 to 40km away, but still between IRR and ORR
3. Gannavaram airport can not co-exists even for domestic purpose as no contractor will agree to build a greenfield airport with a competing domestic airport so close e.g., Hosur airport did not take off due to its close proximity to BAIL
4. I think, govt and/or consultant must consider expanding gannavaram airport itself or 3rd possibility north of current gannavaram airport

Excellent proposal on the international airport near Thadikonda. It caters the needs of Guntur, Krishna and Amaravathi areas. In course of time there will be one crore population in these areas. At least one tenth of them equivalent to 10 lakh people use airports for their needs.
The only concern people of Andhra is that still roads were not laid, train  line was not laid, Hotels and Hospitals have not started construction, Sports complex has not built yet. Metro line also not planned. All these things have to be simultaneously taken up. Already getting delayed. Region wise with in Amaravathi town a secretariat has to be set up with an incharge of a Municipal commissioner, civil engineer and electrical engineers to speed up the work. Govt knows all things. It is only my humble suggestion.
