CAN A 3-YEAR-OLD OAK FRAME GO BACK TOGETHER?! 😬🌳

This one had me slightly worried…

Three years ago, we built this oak frame gazebo, but after the original project it was dismantled and stored in our workshop. Fast forward three years and it was time to bring it back to life!

The job was to rebuild the oak frame at **The Three Horseshoes in Elstead, West Sussex**, where it’s now becoming the centrepiece of Theo’s new outdoor kitchen and bar.

After sitting around in storage for three years, there was always the question of whether everything would still fit back together as it was supposed to. Oak moves, timber changes and when you've got a frame full of traditional joints, there’s not much room for things to have moved!

Thankfully… it went back together! 🙌

In this video we take you through the rebuild, getting the frame back up, dealing with the challenges along the way and seeing the finished structure in its new home.

And I have to say, I think it looks bloody brilliant.

If you enjoy **oak framing, traditional joinery, woodworking, timber framing, restoration and seeing how these projects come together**, make sure you subscribe to the channel.

There’s plenty more workshop, site work, machinery, timber and adventurous joinery coming your way.
