During the week the maroons won origin for 2011 and then this on the Saturday. One of the greatest weeks in Queenslands history.

I remember watching this with my brother, I said crusaders he said reds, we were both nz boys and had a PNG mom I went to school in NZ he went to school in QLD. Even though I lost what a great match!!!

Worth noting: This was the year of the Christchurch earthquakes, where apart from the the obvious distractions, every game of the competition was effectively a 'away game' for the Saders, including the Semifinal (Cape Town) and the final (Brisvegas).
