Han Seok-jung falls into the trap of loan sharks while trying to raise money for his daughter's wedding! Kim Mu-jin, whom he had dismissed as a fake, appears and protects his family, but the person who appears at the front gate the next day is...

Han Seok-jung did not want to be a father who leaves empty-handed in front of a wealthy son-in-law. "Your father will not let Gyu-rim get married empty-handed." Just then, his hometown friend Oh Dong-chun visits and proposes a partnership to open a chicken restaurant. After being turned away at the bank, Han Seok-jung eventually secretly presents his ID at a loan shark office and borrows 15 million won without his family's knowledge. However, a month later, the commercial building supposed to be the chicken restaurant is empty, and Oh Dong-chun's cell phone is turned off.

Unable to tell his family, Han Seok-jung goes to the labor market every dawn to carry bricks at construction sites, trying to shoulder the debt alone. There is the grandfather who claims he fell while hiking despite injuring his hand, and his eight-year-old grandson, Gyeol, who smells the cement on that hand. Eventually, the loan shark, Manager Ma, appears at the side dish shop, informs Gyu-rim of the debt, and threatens to visit the shop every day.

"Kyurim, Dad has done it again."

The father kneels before his daughter, and Kyurim vows, "Don't ever tell Mujin." However, Gyeol, who overheard the whole conversation from under the covers, goes to find Mujin. That night, Kim Mujin appears before loan sharks knocking on the front door. Mujin presses the recording button and calmly points out the illegal debt collection clauses. Then, Mujin replies to Han Seok-jung, who claims he doesn't need money from a rich family.

"Father, I have no intention of settling this with that money. I will protect your pride."

From filing a complaint against a swindler to punishing illegal loan sharks, the journey of Mujin and Han Seok-jung begins. And finally, the first words flow from Han Seok-jung's lips: "Thank you, Mujin." However, the next morning, Hong Ok-seon appears in front of Park Su-nam's house and shouts, "Is this the family that tries to pass off a debt-ridden father's debt onto my son?" The moment their eyes meet as Han Seok-jung opens the gate, the two freeze in place.
