Shows himself constantly drifting around corners but seems surprised at going through rear tyres quickly 😂

Probably the best review of Cayman ownership I've seen

what a fking legend doing snow runs

I own a 6MT 981 Boxster 2.7 and it feels like such a special experience every time I take it out for a drive! I am excited to see what you have in store for your Cayman!

I got a manual base 981 Cayman shortly after you did. What an amazing experience it's been so far.

I haven’t seen this posted previously, but let’s be clear about what it means to warm up this car. You do not idle it to warm. As soon as you start it the maximum amount of time you should wait before driving is the amount of time it takes for the car to idle down from 1100 to normal driving RPM. Then drive it no higher than 3000 RPM until the engine is warm.

It’s no surprise that you’re wearing out real tires, given the way you’re driving it.

The base 2.7 already has a tighter gear ratio than 3.4, despite the lack of low end torque, it’s the best ratio you can get.

Bore scoring was a specific engineering defect with older model cars. These engines are made a different way and are thus not prone to bore scoring

Best Cayman review video! I saw ur last video about you comparing ur miata and Cayman, and then I got one my own. The exact same color in and out same base 2.7 Cayman. My mileage is even similar to urs. Sadly the water pump is screaming in mine 981 but there is no leaking and overheat, so I will just pretend I have a supercharger back there. Besides that everything is like a dream that I dont want to wake from it.🥰

i had a 2015 and got it with 30k miles on it owned it for 7 years until it had about 61k miles  it was mostly a weekend car. but never gave me any issues  oil changes. tires and brakes thats it nothing else

hey, these back tyres wear out pretty quickly for some reason.... anyway here are 10+ shots of me doing power slides :D love it!

Got the same tan interior on my 981 Cayman S PDK. Changed the stock steering wheel with those thumb shifters to an espresso brown 991.2 wheel and it made a huge difference to the whole feel inside! Done about 16 tkm in 16 months of owning, also some winter driving and ice track. Currently on the boat to Germany and the Alp roads 😊.

Another Base checkmark in my Base vs S debate. Great video!!

I bought a 2014 Boxster S PDK last June. What a blast to drive the last 10K miles mostly top down 98% time. Great roads here in Maryland
Great video & driving report.

In my opinion, this car has excellent proportions, & the handling is the best I have ever driven.

You’re one of the reasons I decided on a 2.7 981 manual. Thank you 🫡

I want to see a collab between you and @DasCayman in the back roads. That would be an epic video!

Been watching you over a year now and glad you are planning to upload more regularly! Would love to see you try out more American muscle stuff like Mustangs, corvettes and see your take from a touge perspective haha

2:40 Road noise, poor sound system and high cost
4:40 Reliability at 74k miles😮
8:40 Performance 😊
13:40 Gearing sucks, but she’s a keeper

Would like to drive one of these one day. I’m partial to American performance cars(have a C7 Z51 now) but owned an NC Miata and have driven a few 996 and 991 911s. All great drives. The Cayman always struck as a purists car. Looks in its element on those roads.
