Almost every From game, or souls-like in general, has sections I'm bored by, or dread coming back to. But DS2 is so weird, so wacky, and so willing to take wild swings, that even when it misses I find it more fun than games I'd otherwise admit were better.

Really fun watching you discover all this ridiculous stuff!

Actually wild impressive that you figured out the golems in drangleic castle by analyzing the lore instead of noticing them absorb the souls

"I thought we were cool rat king" as she is stepping on human bones

Vengarl has to be my favorite souls npc, just straight zen in a misty forgotten forest, chilling as a melancholic head.

I never saw “I would not venture deep into that hole” as dirty until Courtney started giggling. And now everytime I hear it I’m probably going to do the same

Just the fact that you decide to put in "after edit thoughts" in all your Souls videos is an absolute breath of fresh air... You already know what some people are going to want to say/comment and you address it :'D A+ gamer mentality, have LOVED watching you play the Souls games! And I still have DS3 to watch! XD

Can we get a mod where when you summon vengarl you just summon his head and he rolls around on the floor

One of the things that I always feel gets overlooked with DS2 is simply how funny it is. There are so many good bits in the Lost Bastille, like the ludicrous amount of enemies behind that petrified guy, or getting flattened by the off-screen Ruin Sentinel your first time entering the arena, or all of the pranks the exploding lads pull. But my favorite has got to be skeleton door (1:02:58). The squinting sneer and a "what??" is the perfect response

GIRL IN THE

Dude the whole dragon shrine sequence was hysterical, ignoring the gimmick of the place and then they keep interrupting you while the dragon is beaming your sleeper activation codes into your mind

"i dont like spiders" Oh we are in for a good one

"I feel overpowered" spending 15 hours doing an unintentional challenge run and going back to lower level areas with upgraded gear goes crazy

I see why this video took so long to get posted after the first ds2 one, holy feature film

"i dont like spiders"
IMAGINE NG+ Freya comes to say hi

I can't tell you how many times I have beat this game and had no idea vengarals body was on the cliff above the head. You learn something everyday.

Holy shit I never knew you could iframe the executioner's chariot, you low-key skipped the gimick haha. I swear I learn something new about this game every day

1:25:34 "I feel overpowered"

Yeah, that'll happen when you go to the later areas of the game before the starter ones haha

Funny thing is that that teleporting grab isn't quite what people tend to think it is, either.

What happens is that an enemy is grabbing you, and you try to roll away, and during the roll *the enemy manages to hit you*. But the full animation of the roll plays out anyways, then it plays the grab animation back to back with it, moving you back to where you were when you got hit. Definitely janky, and I think that's the main spot it comes up, but rolling away from a grab is such a natural thing to do that it's rather noticeable.

One of the other bits that tends to get people going from Dark Souls 1 to 2 is that in DS1, you could easily just run past everything once you know where it is, whereas with 2, that's an easy way to get killed. It rewards taking things slowly, and sniping enemies from a distance and such...

I've played this game countless times and it just went down half a point for me when using the soul item didnt work on the golem lol

Okay something I love about these newer videos is that you don't include many "talking to chat" moments unless its part of the fun.  I watch live when I can (as you know) and the VODs when I can't BUT I still appreciate the editing on these videos can allow someone who is not as avid a follower to enjoy your videos.  I mean it's not "fun" but dude you are GOOD at editing and creating good soundtracks for videos.
