I went back and checked the songwriting credits for the first four albums. Here's how they break down...
AEROSMITH -- 5 songs written solely by Steven Tyler, 1 by Tyler/Perry, 1 by Tyler and Steve Emspak (an old friend), 1 cover
GET YOUR WINGS -- 3 songs written by Tyler, 2 by Tyler/Perry, 1 by Tyler and Joey Kramer, 1 by Tyler and Don Solomon (an old bandmate from Chain Reaction), 1 cover
TOYS IN THE ATTIC -- 1 song written by Tyler, 3 by Tyler/Perry, 2 by Tyler and Tom Hamilton, 1 by Tyler and Brad Whitford, 1 by Tyler/Solomon, 1 cover
ROCKS -- 1 song written by Tyler, 4 by Tyler/Perry, 2 by Tyler/Whitford, 1 by Tyler/Hamilton, 1 by Perry alone
So out of 31 songs that were credited to members of Aerosmith, only 10 were written by Tyler/Perry. Of those, three were fan favorites ("Walk This Way," "Toys in the Attic," "Back in the Saddle") and three other popular tunes ("Dream On," "Sweet Emotion," "Last Child") were written without Perry.
