✈✈ Frequently Asked Questions ✈✈
Q: When will Ace Combat 7 be released?
A: January 18 (PS4 and XB1) and February 1 (Steam).
Q: Will Ace Combat 7 support a joystick?
A: Yes! The Thrustmaster’s T.Flight HOTAS One has been confirmed to be compatible on Xbox One and the same can be expected for the PS4 and PC ports.
Q: What sets Ace Combat apart from other games?
A: Ace Combat is unique because it puts the player first with an amazing story, fun gameplay and a phenomenal soundtrack unlike C̶o̶D̶ ̶W̶W̶I̶I̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶B̶a̶t̶t̶l̶e̶f̶r̶o̶n̶t̶ ̶2̶ other games.
Q: Do I need to play the previous games to understand Ace Combat 7?
A: Not at all, all games have a stand-alone story, though you will understand some references by playing the earlier titles.
Q: I just got to know about Ace Combat, what do you recommend me to do?
A: If you are new to Ace Combat and want to know more about the series I HIGHLY recommend you to play the PlayStation 2 games Ace Combat 5, Ace Combat Zero and Ace Combat 04 (in this order if possible). But if you can’t play PS2 games give emulation a try as these games work very well with PCSX2. If that doesn’t work you can always watch a playthrough (links below).
Q: Where can I learn more about Ace Combat lore?
A: I have a couple of videos talking just about the lore and there’s a fan-run wiki called Acepedia has really good lore content (both links listed below).
Q: How many aircraft will be featured in Ace Combat 7?
A: Over 30 playable aircraft and many others that are unplayable (bombers, tankers, drones etc).
Q: Will AC7 be similar to Ace Combat Assault Horizon?
A: No, it will be much better. AC7 takes place in the fictional Ace Combat universe and gameplay will not have the DFM mechanic.
Q: What are the innovations in AC7?
A: Dynamic weather, air currents, wind and clouds that do affect gameplay.

I SAWED THIS ARSENAL BIRD IN HALF
Also, all of Osea's history could be summed up by their enemies saying "the future is now, old man."
-Punch a hole through the Tango Line (Again)
-I hope there's another "Invincible Fleet," taking a dump on them once as Mobius 1 apparently wasn't enough.
-Remind Farbanti of what aces are capable of. (You didn't learn your lesson old man!)
-Finish off Stonehenge. Not Until the last gun is silenced will the circle be complete.
-Finally, if Mihaly turns out to be Yellow 13, just finish the job. He went from a bro who drinks after sorties and plays the guitar like the Air Force version of Marlboro Cowboy to a philosopher who's tired and angry that he friendzoned Yellow 4 before she was wrecked by Mobius 1.
Finally, I pose a conundrum to you: Osea has had the Arsenal Bird infiltrated by espionage and now, has had the Arsenal Birds hacked, so, is that how mafia works?
edit: Just a reminder to all my fellow aces that H.A.W.X. is the big gay.
That said, it’s an incredible game, and I hope they will one day release it for PC so I can play it about a hundred more times.
DAMN YOU TRIGGER!!!!!
No wonder the plane was downed in the first minutes of the game. The devs have some really dark humor i guess ^^
Oh and that ball reminds me a bit of E.D.I from the movie Stealth or the Dummy Plug System from the NGE franchise.
