Hi! As a Norwegian myself I just wanted to say if you ever come back take a reusable water bottles with you as Norwegian tap water is free and drinkable, and don’t buy water bottles at the store unless you’re at a place that does not have clean and safe drinkable tap water 😊
Btw, it also saves you the money for every bottle you buy which also includes a “pant” which means a fee or loan whenever you buy bottled drinks or cans,and those can be recycled at grocery stores in a “pantemaskin” machine thing, and you get money back on a receipt that you can use cash out or use a co-payment on groceries 😊

As a Norwegian its so fun to see other people experience the nature and culture here <3
Tip: there really is no need to buy water as the tap water is the best water you will ever experience while in Norway. Saves some plastic waste and money <3

THis was the best video that we've seen in years. We've been following travel bloggers and it was so refreshing to see the ups and downs of real travel, no open mouth huge smile posing or anything flashy. So down to earth and real. This is a true, genuine, honest video. We appreciate that it included details of flight and where you stayed because most videos magically show each great destination but not the steps to get there. We are planning this trip!

Hi, new subscriber here! My gf and I loved your video ... the camera work was great, and we esp. liked the fact that your speech was calm and not sensationalist like a lot of YouTubers. Not everything needs to be "AHHHSOME" or have loud hipster beats in the background ... we like videos for mature adults, and we are planning to visit Lofoten next March, so this video gave us a lot of good information.

Don't wear Snikers as a Hike footwear in Norway, use Hikingboots. As you can see, not only the fog but although the rain make the stones slippery and the fog can make you stay put and freeze. Therefor, even on a short hike, use proper footwear and clothing. The nature and weather in Norway can be cruel and it changes fast! Greetings from a Norwegian

Being a Norwegian I learned a trick as a kid to «survive» taking cod liver oil. Drink a little bit of milk first to line and cover your taste buds. Then take a spoon of cod liver oil while not breathing through your nose, some more milk and finally a spoon of Sana-sol (concentrated orange extract for c-vitamin). The result is a very slight hint of the cod liver oil. Health benefits covered. 😊
